Yes it did. I guess this means you are
on our list now. Anything new in the
MOTM front?

Boy, it sure is quiet on this board!

Everyone's waiting for me to get the 700's out (today and tomorrow)
and the VCOs out (pcb test boards back Friday).

On another note (so to speak) I am working on a tripe VC bandpass filter
module ans am thinking about redesigning the VC LFO to include
variable waveshaping.

Cool! The MAM triple bandpass uses Vactrols, but I don't know enough about
them to understand exactly where you would use them in the circuit, and how
this is a good thing. Are you thinking along these lines?

I'd vote for variable waveshaping on the LFO, especially if it is voltage
controlled!

I am working *exactly* along these lines.

VC waveshape is pretty hard to define. But...with a '700 VC Router, you can
certainly VC *select*.

Hi Paul n All !

On another bandpass note : I'm very intrigued about the variable
bandpass described in the Synthesource newsletter . Variable
bandwith, variable centerfreq, and two vc resonance peaks ... hmm .

Would that be part of your line of thinking ?

Take care .

Keep 'em oscillating :)

Is this the old Curtis applications document? I have the (only) 2 issues
around somewhere.

Actually, I'm first going to offer a Korg PS-3100 type that uses Vactrols as
the
control element. This is the Jean-Michael Jarre effect.

I love filters! Pathetic Moog modulars had only 2 to choose from. The
"Variable
Filter Bank" is about as exciting as a $79 Rane EQ.

I also want to do a vocal formant filter bank. These were well-documented in
the
early '70s, but were "un-buildable" because 1% resistors and 1% capacitors
were
soo expensive, and the op amps had insufficient GB products for high Q (>75,
say)
and not move the Fc around.
