Hey Moe, 

When I first saw this, I thought it was a sequencer (with the CLK inputs and 
all the talk about SuperMoe) so I was a bit disappointed to see it wasn't a 
sequencer. I think the circular layout reinforces the cyclical nature of 
simple sequencers. I seem to remember Raymond Scott had a circular sequencer 
like this, but I kind of wonder why I haven't seen this in commercial units 
-- have I missed one.
