hello all, there was a little interest a while back when i mentioned midwest analog modules, well i finally got the adv-midi up and running - even though it's taken me around five months to build the bugger, it worked "straight out of the box" - of course my custom panel needs a little work, but then they always do so you have a midi in, and eight trigger outputs along with some din sync stuff like start, stop, and clock, eight flashing LEDs (heh heh), and it works an absolute treat with my Korg ES-1 groove sampler - for some reason my dark star doesn't seem to like it, but it's early days yet if you interface midi to your motm, and you don't mind having to trash (or keep in a box until hell freezes over) most of the kit then it's $60 or so very well spent unfortunately the url is at work - heh anyway, i'm sure i deserve a beer now... any questions..? (i'm sure this is suitably onlist) oh yes, and i should get those other modules (bass & snare) working sometime this week cheers paul b (two toys in one day - the other being a clearance "dj" cd player the size of a photocopier)
