Hmmm.....this has me thinking......(hide your checkbook!) Moog modulars have these little "utility" panels across the bottoms of the cases. Stuff like >>>>multiples<<<<, DC voltage sources, and a reversing attenuator (along with a clever "ganged" attenuator). So, how about a 1U tall, chock-full-of-MOTM-stuff, 19" wide panel? a) more power connectors b) multiples c) DC source d) reversing atten. I like the idea of 1 "running normalization" path for the 1V/Oct "keyboard" CV that the VCO/VCFs want to always use. OK Dave! Start drawing! Just keep the "knob stuff" off to one side because they will be on a pc board like the other modules. 2 knobs side-by-side will take up 2U of the 10U width, and that's enough (I would place the 'knob end' under the MOTM-900 so as not to mess up the patch symmetry). Price range? I can have the sheet metal guy quote it, get close enough. Just remember, that Switchcraft jacks are $$$ and add up fast! I'm thinking of: DC RVATN J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J In order for the knobs & jacks to fit, I would use the smaller diameter ones. But I will have to see if it is possiple. If not, jack-a-mania! Paul S.
