The worst things about the Lynch movie for me - 1. its totally incomprehensible plot (given the need to depict 10000 years of subtle power relationships, but the editing made it even worse) 2. the Harkonnens were cartoon figures HAHA! I AM EVIL! HAHAHA! 3. the intentionally gratuitous repellant scenes with heart plugs, etc. But at least it had energy. I'll watch part 2 tonight, but they will probably introduce a menage a trois with Paul, Chani, and Irulan in the name of "furthering the plot". Frustrated Moe
