>Hi guys, Barry again >Does anybody know of motm systems being used on any cd's out there? I am >interested in hearing them. I also was wondering how many of us use our >stuff in the hopes of releasing something compared to how many are doing it >as a hobby. I have a few things coming out soon with the MOTM. Whether this lifts me from the category of hobbyist is debatable... I'm on one track from Dave Storrs' Waxing The Slide CD, on Louie Records. Dave is a jazz drummer and composer, and the concept of Waxing is that he composed MIDI and percussion tracks, and had one featured soloist come in and improvise over the top of the tracks. Each of us were given one track, and one take. On my track I used MOTM and a little bit of Dark Star. The Louie website is www.peak.org/~louierec, but this record isn't on the site yet (soon), though it is available from Dave (louierec@...). I also have a dub/jazz CDR that I'm releasing on my own New and Improv label, that will be out very soon, under the name Admiral Twinkle Devil. And the new Minus CD will finally be out next February or so, there's a few advance tracks at www.mp3.com/-minus-, and there's a bit of MOTM on that as well. ____________________________________________ Dave Trenkel : improv@...
