Doc, It depends on what you want to use it for. You might want to check out Mark Pulver's comments on all three devices on www.midiwall.com. I don't know the Kenton very well but the Encore is a great unit for dealing with multiple MIDI->CV connections since you can set up scaling, polarity, LFOs, etc. for each CV and Gate out. The JKJ unit is great for controlling a single synth on a budget.
