so not only are MOTM kits easy to build, which most of you already know, but so much of the "waste" from the kits can be recycled into other uses. i'm *still* using the left-over no-clean solder from a kit i built months ago. plus, if you do your own cabling, save all the little "legs" (i don't know what the techneekal term y'all use) you cut off resistors and such - i've found they're perfect for bridging XLR jack pins in an unbalanced to balanced cable. and last but not least, the bubble pack envelopes are the perfect size for packing smaller gear such as a 606 or a korg kms-30. these things saved me in my last move. and that's your public service announcement for today, alex
