I'm not sure if the Expressionist can do this (mine's on loan). But if it
does, then
it has more outs than the Kenton. It may "split" the 8 outs into Note Off/On
and
other MIDI messages. The Pro-2000 has 2 dedicated CV outs (mapped to Notes)
and 6 "free" outs. The Expressionist has the advantage of up to 8 CV outs
AND
8 GATE outs, which the Pro-2000 can't do at all!
