More observations comparing my results to Larry's:

> 4.  At around 5.1K my VCOs went into over sync and to the same note.

I had a very strong correlation on this end - all 4  came in between 4 - 5K.
I think we want to end up closer to this end than the other, for stronger
soft sync, if you will.

> 5.  Above 18K VCOs would sync and slip, sync and slip.

I had a lot more variability on this end. Two were around 19 - 20K, one came
in at 32K, and one synced all the way out to 50K!

I'm going to try some 3.7K resistors in place of the 5.1K tonight.
