a quick point, i certainly didn`t mean to infer that you had anything against 
drum machines, midi or sequencers.  i was commenting on my own esthetic 
"biases".
and, true, the available range of modules out there are pretty much able to 
cover most of the bases. still, until someone releases something really 
different, it is always hard to see the need for it or how it might fit in or 
make something easier to accomplish. lets just hope that all the 
manufacturers out there keep up the good work.
