what we *really* need is an FFB that can be modulated in a different way to
a 410, ie cut / boost  (or maybe Q..?) modulated by an envelope follower
(i'm thinking drum loop processing here)
looking to the Urei Little Dipper as a model, the attenuation would ideally
be pretty severe (far more than 20dB) and maybe a high & low shelf
if we stuck to say five bands, all with the same wide frequency range, and
some chain facility, people could get just the one, or go balmy and get
seven of em...

any thoughts..?
