My dad was in a physics class, taking a long quiz that was only 1 question.
When he got the paper back, to his amazement he got a grade of 50. Looking
at
the answer, he got the right number, but instead of having the exponent as
10^-6
he had 10^6.

He went to the teacher and said, "All I got was the sign wrong! Why did you
take
off half!?!"

The prof deanpanned: "You were off by a million million."
