Thomas Henry still has some Reticon SAD-4096 chips for sale at Welcome to Midwest Analog Products! in the parts section. He also posted the free plans for this unit there along with the PCB artwork. It is based on Craig Anderton's Hyperflange. I built one about 2 years ago and have been pretty happy with it. Also the Roland SBF-325 is a great unit. I see them fairly often on Ebay. I got mine for $250. Now modulating these devices with my 320 and they are twice as good! Sounds like Paul may not go down the BBD path which is sad but the parts issue is a real thing. Charles.
