Steve, You can check the archives for more of the "module separator" discussions. It periodically comes up. The Moog panels look the way they do because the panel graphics are black anondized onto the aluminum so the separators are the bare aluminum at the edges of the faceplate. Moog cabinets are 48.25" wide, made from .75" wood. That comes out to .5" short of 27U wide. Because I'm stacking my MOTM cabinet on a Moog system, I want to match the *exact* measurements.
