   How about on the joystick module (or whatever it will end up being) make 
an input or a switch for the input so one could plug in a keyboard with the 
standard 100ohm resistor per key, and the module would output CV's 
accordingly..  This way one could acquire a junked keyboard, solder up the 
resistor chain/wires/proper plug and have a basic, cv keyboard. I think the 
idea was for a type of jack to be on the panel where one could plug in a 
joystick or alternate controller and control some cv's..  so waddya say? how 
about a gate/trig signal as well ??
