No consensus will ever be reached on something like this.  You will either
get:

A: What Paul sorts out from comments and decides to supply
B: What you make yourself.

Eventually my wood case multiple will be like nothing you have seen
(Larry's Magic buss TM).  However, since my MOTM now resides in a rack, I
just purchased a 1U panel from Paul, drilled 16 holes, masked off and white
spray painted on the lines, and inserted 16 switchcraft 112A jacks.  It
looks right at home in my MOTM rack and is in service today.  Later, when I
no longer need it, my guess is I will have no trouble selling it to another
MOTM'er who is less "drill friendly" for about what I have invested in the
parts.
