If you'd like to beta test the new firmware version, or just follow 
the testing progress, send a message with "SUBSCRIBE" in the message 
body to motm650-request@....

Note that there is currently no OS-X version of the firmware 
updater.  I don't like it, but that's how it is for the foreseeable 
future.  :(  There ARE alternatives.  An OS 9 version is 
available.  Source code is available.  Many Mac people run Windows 
under Boot Camp, Parallels, or VMWare Fusion (even my decidedly 
non-techy wife).  Some run Windows apps using WineBottler ( 
http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/ ).  It'd be great if someone would 
try the SFUU program under WineBottler to see if that's a possible 
free solution.

I'm hoping to have V1.4Beta1 out this week.
