Speaking of screw rash, Mouser p/n 561-D832B are #8 plastic washers that work great to keep your panels clean. They are reasonably priced in >100 quantity and protect the panels very nicely.
I use them with 5/16" black screws #1001SN1296 from Aarons General Store for mounting rails in wood cabinets.
