Have you tried patching a large signal into the S&H input?  Patch the 
Triangle output of a MOTM-300.  Run the 300 at the lowest frequency.  If 
you're not getting any negative output from the 101, something is wrong 
with the sample and hold section.  If this test works, there may be a 
problem with the Pink noise on the 101.  Try adjusting the noise gain 
trimpot, TP1.
