Hi y'all-- I've literally just gotten my first batch of MOTM stuff and barely started putting it all together. One thing I've been thinking about is a little 'house keeping' panel, 2U wide- with two 4 way multiples in the 'traditional' MOTM location, a pair of simple attenuator pots (with input and output jacks in, er, ah, non-traditional MOTM locations) and at the top one more jack and a DC voltmeter. Forgive the ASCII art, but: ______________ | ---------- | | | meter | | | ---------- | | O -meter in| | | | | | O <> O | "<>" being a pot |attenuators | | O <> O | | | | | | O O O O | | multiples | | O O O O | | | -------------- Bear in mind this is for a simple system, which may eventually grow, but for now will remain quite modest. Right now, I'm not going to need a lot of multiples.... I'm also not really sure I'll *need* the meter that often, but it seems worth the effort, just as a sanity check when a patch yields an unexpected result. Frank Vanaman Baltimore
