Hi Enrico, Sorry, I've been really busy lately and haven't had time to pull out the CD an listen to it and see if I can recreate it. I'm pretty sure I can come pretty close if it's the sound I have in my head. I LOVE the MOTM-485 and own two of them! I have a few YouTube video demos/clips where I feature the MOTM-485. And the original designer of the GX1 clone circuit, OldCrowsSynthShop, comments on one or two of them so maybe you could send him your questions too. Here are the ones that I used a MOTM-485 or two one predominantly: MOTM-485 - An Exploration Of A Filter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5h7BZaaL3A Something Nice For Your Cat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQW7gSM26kM Monster Man (the screaming/grinding lead is two MOTM-485's in series) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTIbM9za36A John L Rice -----Original Message----- From: motm@yahoogroups.com [mailto:motm@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of edibennardo Sent: Wednesday, June 03, 2009 9:32 AM To: motm@yahoogroups.com Subject: [motm] MOTM 475 ? I thought more people on this list were interested in GX1 sound re-creation but there was no comment on my question about "tremolo" (or what that thing is) in a GX1, a second question I pose is if the long ago announced 475 is on a to do list somehow. one oscillator (with 4 waveforms), one noise source, two EGs, one VCA 3 X 485 and 1 X 475, one MULT and one mixer should perfectly give the monophonic audio path of that monster. I can't wait... Enrico /Sicily ------------------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Links
