Such an excellently encouraging email without actually spelling out the
light at the end of the tunnel! (at least, I'm assuming a lot! ;-)

I haven't played with those modes much but I'll try them out this weekend. I
wasn't even thinking about poly portamento but that's something I would
love! I need to get on the stick! (or rather synth!)

Curious to hear from users that use poly1 or poly2 modes in the '650 versus 
the rotational assignment (how it's shipped).

- do you prefer one over the other
- how often do you use the poly portamento?

This is for folks that use a keyboard versus a sequencer program (that is 
more than likely set for individual MIDI channels per voice).
