Sorry if this thread has come up before, but does anyone have any experience (or wisdom) about modifying (or desdigning) pedal effects as modules? I know there are various modules out there designed to work with guitar level signals, but I'm talking about designing guitar effects (fuzz, flange, phase, tube OD, etc.) for modular use. I know some modules exist as modular recreations of guitar pedals. Metasonix seems to be recreating most of their TM line as Euro modules. I also know that a lot of basic modules cover and far outdo much of the pedal universe. But I'm in love with fuzz pedals, and there's lots I'd like to see in a module. I especially love starving a pedal. There's nothing like the sound of some pedals running out of juice. Anyway, the fuzzmodular & fuzzlab projects look interesting. But I'm wondering if anything can be bought assembled or in kit form, or if it's still a DIY thing? Erik
