Yes, a parametric filter bank is more useful in general, though it's nice to
have both kinds.  Since it's apparently not allowed to advertise non-MOTM
stuff for sale/auction on this forum, I'll point out that my Polymoog
Resonator / Parametric Filterbank IS NOT currently for sale at this moment.
But when I get back from California, you might want to keep your eyes open
on the AH list or Moog Forum for it's possible sale.  But since this is a
one-of-a-kind stand-alone version I put together after ripping it out of my
Polymoog, some DIY oriented people might just like to see what it looks like
below:
