Yes, those would be some good choices. I have a big pile of Switchcraft phone plugs that I've been sitting on for years and was going to sell most of them on Ebay . . until last July when I got back in modulars! ;-) So, I've been thinking about cable a lot myself. Lately I've been leaning towards Mogami W2791 Broadcast Mic Cable for its durability. It's $0.17 more per foot than the Mogami W2524 you (and I) are considering but I think it may be worth it in the long run: http://www.redco.com/shopexd.asp?id=497 Redco is a great outfit to buy from too! They have some nice Neutrik plugs and their own knockoff brand plugs for $0.80 to $1.03 if you want to save some money over Switchcraft. http://www.redco.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=62&cat=TS+Connectors John L Rice -----Original Message----- From: motm@yahoogroups.com [mailto:motm@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Argitoth Sent: Friday, February 13, 2009 9:59 AM To: motm@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [motm] What cable is right for modular synths? what the crap happened to my links? switchcraft: http://www.markertek.com/SearchProduct.asp?off=47&sort=prod&skuonly=0&search =switchcraft&pagesize=20 mogami: http://www.performanceaudio.com/cgi/product_view.cgi?products_id=5598 ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
