Besides the third-party offerings that have been suggested, I'd just
like to mention that there are indirect ways of achieving many useful
VC-EG effects using combinations of other modules. For instance, running
the envelope generator through a VCA, and sometimes also applying
voltage-controlled 'lag' to a punchy envelope. Often two
carefully-adjusted EGs in parallel, with some of these effects applied
only to one of them, is just the ticket (kind of a "Carlosian"
approach).

For simple VC-AR envelopes, just look at the VC-Lag module and think
about processing the Gate logic directly. (After all, what is an ADSR
module but a very specific arrangement of lag-time integrators, you
know?)

It takes some experimentation but you can achieve some really expressive
effects with tricks like these.

(I'm a nut for envelope generators... I don't think you can have too
many in a system. I can easily clear a room when you get me talking
about envelope generators...)
