Yes! I totally copied what Richard did and I love it! Thanks again for the ideas, Richard! ;-) John L Rice -----Original Message----- From: motm@yahoogroups.com [mailto:motm@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Richard Brewster Sent: Tuesday, January 13, 2009 4:33 PM To: adambaileynow Cc: motm@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [motm] Case mockup Looks great! It's fun to make a mock-up to get an overall idea of what you are initially shooting at. You will find out over time that no matter what you planned at first, it will grow bigger. (Really, I've been there.) If you want portability, here's an idea that I recently implemented that has about the same capacity as yours: http://pugix.com/synth/portable-rack-cabinets/ http://pugix.com/synth/cabinets-loaded/ My thought was to build two smaller cabinets, each with a self-contained power supply. These are in really strong road cases with hard protective covers and good handles. MOTM sized modules add up in weight pretty fast. But I can easily lift one of these fully loaded. As for the multiples, you won't need that many. One MOTM-910 may be enough in a 40U system. Two at most. What's your plan for the bus jacks?
