Hi Laurent, welcome! J I'm pretty new myself as I only started last August. But today I have two racks that hold 20+ module units each and I'm out of space! I've purchased almost all of my MOTM gear used. I'm still waiting to get a second power supply so I can power the second rack and a big box of parts so I can build some DIY items I've committed to (Tellun, Oakley, MFOS etc) but I'm hoping that in a couple months or four I'll have everything caught up so I can start on my third rack! ;-) John L Rice From: motm@yahoogroups.com [mailto:motm@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of ROV PILOT Sent: Wednesday, December 03, 2008 8:30 AM To: motm@yahoogroups.com Subject: [motm] so juicy Dear all, I am new to the list, and also new to motm. I have recently received the missing elements I needed to start playing with a few modules I ordered (most of them are from syntech but there are also 2 blacets, 2 metalbox, 2 modcan, cynthia's ZO and cgs dual lfo). Not yet played with everything. I just write to share my maybe childish enthusiasm. It has taken a long time from checking out on syntech shop to opening the big box trom TX, but all of my impatience appears to be TOTALLY off topic now. I just cannot believe my ears, how juicy all the modules sound. I think I could listen to my first patch for ages, nor that it is so complex (!), I am just fascinated by what's coming purely coming out. I am the happy owner of a kyma system. Sure I love its mathematic possibilities, but I think that I will lose myself in analog-only trips for a while. My best wishes to anyone in love with current grooving through texan pipes... laurent http://www.hangars-liquides.com
