My posts are getting blocked. I guess they have HTML in them, despite 
[grumble Eudora grumble]. I assume that Richard has gotten the CCs.

In short, I'd recommend the FMR RNC as an inexpensive, fairly 
transparent comp/limitier.

As for gating, I'd rather do that in my DAW.
