It did take some time indeed. :-)

I've tried to get a good flute or clarinet lead sound for a while, but wasn't happy with the results. I need an additional ADSR etc to have an enveloppe available for the 'breathy' part of wind instruments, which I have on order by the way, so I me re-do the lead part in due course.
I also want to try and add dynamics at some point because the whole thing sounds a bit lifeless, so a VCA or mixer with CV control would be great to have... Paul ? :-)

Really nice job! That must have taken a while!

My only suggestion, especially since you were going for sort of a W. Carlos
thang, would be to use different timbres for the lead voice in each section
instead of always the same one. Wendy describes this technique on her
Secrets of Synthesis CD. It's a really informative disc and well worth
owning IMHO.

Keep up the good work! :-)

Hi Folks,

Just to let you know that I'm 'done (?)' recording a version of Flight of
the bumblebee, using
just my modest MOTM synth, Wendy Carlos style :-)
go to my blog at www.motmsynth.blogspot.com to find more info and a link to
download the
mp3.

hope you enjoy it, and look forward to your (constructive) comments :-)
