which is 'backwards' from say a 2N3904 which is E_B_C

I would avoid buying *anything* from Futurelec, they screwed me with 
counterfeit CA3280s 2 years ago. I suspect the person that bought 
'backwards' BC550s were NOT getting BC550s.
