I don't understand what you mean. I was talking about modifying the modules I already have. This has nothing to do with ordering modules or how long it takes an order to be filled...? --Adam _____ From: motm@yahoogroups.com [mailto:motm@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Henrik Sent: Thursday, July 03, 2008 2:10 PM To: motm@yahoogroups.com Subject: RE: [motm] Re: modules for sale You can allways make updates and cancellations of ordered modules. Ofcourse the long waiting for MOTM-delivery can cause changes in peoples buing plans. --- On Thu, 7/3/08, Adam Schabtach <lists@...> wrote: From: Adam Schabtach <lists@...> Subject: RE: [motm] Re: modules for sale To: motm@yahoogroups.com Date: Thursday, July 3, 2008, 9:47 PM Yup. I'd buy it if I didn't already have a second one waiting to be built. A very handy module. I've been thinking about a modification, though. Suppose the B jack were wired to +5V through the switched lug on the jack. If you inserted a cable, the module would operate normally. If there were nothing in the B jack, you could use the module as a comparator without any other routing: the output would switch from 0V to +5V when the CV input exceeded the level set with the Switch knob. Sure, you can use an unused 800 module as a source of +5V, but who wants to tie up a valuable EG for something so mundane? I've been trying to decide whether it makes more sense to add a +5V regulator to the module itself, or to rig a six-conductor power cable to pick up the +5V from the power distro board. --Adam (lucky purchaser of one of Moe's LFOs) _____ From: motm@yahoogroups. com [mailto:motm@ yahoogroups. com] On Behalf Of Charles Osthelder Sent: Thursday, July 03, 2008 1:11 PM To: motm@yahoogroups. com Subject: [motm] Re: modules for sale Dave's right, people! I'd have bought this one if I didn't have my second one coming from Paul. That's right - I've got two. There are very few patches that can't benefit from the wonderful MOTM-700. Why? Because it's a dual...: CV and audio router frequency modulator/wave mangler comparator stereo ping pong effect (really - try it if you dare!) stutter effect (for the early Van Halen fans...) That's just the obvious stuff. The "intended" service is plenty useful for the asking price.
