In the past, for small orders like 1 or 2 CEM ICS, or 1 or 2 blank pc
boards,
I have declared these as "Commercial Samples" and for the last 10 years this
has not caused any problems.
However, just this last week (and another package arrived *today*, returned
from Italy) foreign customs is not allowing this type of declaration.
Therefore, I will no longer do this. Every order sent will have an invoice
for the
amount you paid (not the postage).
Since the dollar is 50% less than a few years ago, what's a few VAT dollars?
:)
I know that this will make buying 'less attractive' but the party's over.
