I had thought about doing something like this but I'd imagined (correctly as 
it turns out) that the VCF CONTROL input on the back was most probably 
designed for use with some kind of pedal. So I checked the voltage across the 
tip and the sleeve of this jack and found almost 11 volts at the tip 
(assuming 1v/octave this seems reasonable -- maybe there is hope for using 
this as an analog keyboard). I'm thinking that "it wants" to see a pot 
between the tip and sleeve -- to summarize: I'd resist the temptation to plug 
in a MOTM (or any other voltage source) into this input. Maybe when Paul (or 
the other techs on the list) can clear this up.

Considering this uses the 4051 as a VCF demux, I'm guessing that this is 8 
note polyphonic (there are easier ways to figure this out), and one could 
"easily" get low or high note priority by picking off one of the pins of the 
4051.

And thanks for the switch number Larry! While it seems like it might be a 
momentary switch, if you depress it once it will both stay down and set a 
flip flop (which triggers the KEY TRANSPOSE function). Depress it again, and 
it goes up and resets the flip flop (deactivating the KEY TRANSPOSE 
function). Unfortunately, when I depress this button, it will set the FF, but 
won't stay down so I can't reset the FF unless I turn off the power -- 
depressing!
