MOTM

Hi,
Im starting to put toghether an order for some DIY Motm building parts 
and as I dont have a good knowledge of electronics Im wondering if you 
guys can help me out with some info regarding what type of resistors I 
need to use and if theres a special brand used in the motm modules.
Also if you have some tips for caps brands.
Im probarly ordering most parts from mouser.
