Yes, I think that would be very helpful. I just completed the MOTM-900 last night (YAY!), but not tested yet. My soldering skills need some work. But hey, this my first real attempt at soldering. Everything looks good, except that despite my dilligence in reading the instructions, I got excited and soldered on one of the transformer leads before putting on the shrink wrap. D'oh!! I don't want to go back and unsolder it (I used the more-is-better method of attaching it), but I would like to cover the lead. Is electrical tape an acceptable substitute? Or any other kind of wrap? I don't plan on doing this reguarily, but that lead bothers me. --PBr, who thinks heating shrink wrap with the soldering iron is terribly tedious and now really wants a shrink wrap gun. > -----Original Message----- > From: Cary Roberts [SMTP:Cary.Roberts@...] > Sent: Friday, December 17, 1999 8:46 AM > To: motm > Subject: Re: [motm] Soldering, etc > > I have a DIY modular someone else built.
