Reading Ken's missive and thinking about how Tomita/Wendy never really "played" any of their compositions all the way through: it was massive editing/splicing/layering. Then was talking to a fellow MOTM'er that probably 95% of the records made today, the band/singer never played/sang the who song all the way from start to finish. It's massive ProTools "snippets", pitch-corrected/EQ'd/etc. Does anyone every make a "real song" anymore? I remember seeing Harry Chapin play 3 weeks before he died: still the best concert I ever went to (by a mile). 1 person singing, 4 playing. Greatness. Which brings me to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzqumbhfxRo Genius :) Paul S.
