Sir Scott Stone, Comments inline. > I was thinking of using a larger Power One supply so what one? > Check out the Power-One CP131A. It's got 5VDC @ 8A and +/-15VDC @ 3A. Should be beefy enough for an expanding system. You might use the CGS PSU Delay Boards if you go with one this size, to prevent latch-up. Another option is getting something like the Power-One HCC15-3-A for your +/-15VDC and a separate 5VDC supply. > Ultimately I would like to use something like the .com power > connection between cabinets > but much more solid as Mark said with better connectors. So the > consensus is? > You could use the Neutrik 4-pin Speakons, wiring +15V, -15V, ground, and +5V on the 4 pins, but it's probably good to keep your analog and digital grounds separate for noise's sake, so the 8-pin Speakon might be better. Those guys can handle 30A continuous per contact, so they are definitely strong enough, whereas the DIN connectors are better for smaller distribution schemes. With speakons, you can just use a Speakon cable between different cabinets. You might get some distribution ideas here: http://www.wiseguysynth.com/larry/cabinet/cabinet2.htm http://www.wiseguysynth.com/larry/power.htm http://www.pugix.com/overview.htm On an unrelated note, I really dug your performance with Melvins @ Symphony Space last year. Lysol w/Haino was intense, though Haino was almost too much - wish he knew those changes! -Henry
