Try it with the V1.1 RC1 version of the firmware ( http://synthtech.com/m650/motm650v127.20.sfi ).  It triggers my Jupiter 6 arpeggiator just fine w/ internal clock, and should do the same w/ midi clock.  If you're using an external clock, there's really no need to echo it to the Aux out - it's cheaper to use a multiple or y-adapter.  ;)

A clock divider would be a nice feature, sure, but it's not a necessity for most people.  How many Midi>CV converters have clock dividers built in?  Paul specified that the MOTM-650 should be an excellent Midi>CV converter without being overly complicated.  Adding features would also have added to the cost.  Even so, the 650 is one of the most full-featured Midi>CV converters on the market (maybe THE most).  I think Paul struck a good balance with the features he chose.

Still, there's a lot more that could be done in software with the existing hardware.  Synthcom will be offering a firmware upgrade for the 650 in the not-too-distant future.  It will have a lot of extra arpeggiator features, possibly even Midi-synced LFOs.  Adding clock divider outputs would be trivial.  If there are other features you'd like to see in the upgrade, send me a private email.

Don't let the promise of a future upgrade stop you from buying a 650 now, though.  There are quite a lot of features to play with as it is, and there aren't any plans to add more features to the factory version.  If in the future, you find yourself wanting your 650 to do more, then it should take about 5 minutes to reflash the firmware with the Synthcom upgrade.  That is, when I finish it.  :)
