Doing a little experimentation, I found the following cost differentials: HPGL format Pot graphic, 21 tick marks plus digits 0-4, 6-10 (5 is removed for the pot name) = $1.88 HPGL format Pot graphic, 21 tick marks, digits are FPE fonts - $1.27 plus $0.20-0.23 per digit = $3.42 FPE tick marks and digits, $0.21-0.22 per tick mark, $0.20-0.23 per digit = $6.67 FPE seems to add a price penalty per instance of graphic. If you have a long text string then the cost delta between HPGL and FPE graphic is not as much.
