MOTM

Hi All,
forgive me if this has been discussed many times:
Since I simply don't find the time to design and eventually build a 
decent wooden cabinet for my MOTM-style modules I'm pondering why not 
someone let build two 19" cases like the many you find on the road 
(redish/brownish plywood with aluminum frame, butterfly locks, a pair of 
handels, etc.).
I'm thinking of something rather slim yet simple for three rows of 
modules each plus 3U for additional stuff like FX or multiples (i.e. 18U 
of height).

Who's using that in a similar way and what are the pros and cons?
What's the inner depth (clearance) your cabinets have?

Anything else I have to think of?
