MOTM

I went ahead and bought a Front Panel Express panel to complete my 
MOTM-480 project.  I finished it today and love it.  My website has two 
new photos (be sure to look at the back photo).  This coming week I will 
add a project page with more photos and detailed wiring instructions.

One of the first things I tried was to hook this into an existing patch 
in place of where I was using a MOTM-440 VCF.  I patched the two filters 
in series with both in LP mode.  (LP out of the first into the second).  
Very interesting differences to the sound of the patch!  Of course I 
tried other combinations too, including the original variable bandpass 
(HP of the first filter to the input of the second).  Being able to 
control each filter separately gives lots of possibilities.  This filter 
sounds very nice at high resonances without oscillating!  Thanks, Paul!
