MOTM

How close is the sound of the MOTM-490 uVCF to the vintage filters in 
the Moog modular and the Minimoog? I don't have any Moog filters and 
I'm sure my ear isn't good enough to hear the difference anyway 
(software guy, not musician), but I'm curious what people think.

This is not to start an AH-style "which filter is better" thread. I 
just happened to acquire a couple of Minimoog oscillator boards for my 
MOTM modular to assimilate, and I am wondering how close I'll be to the 
fabled Minimoog sound if I run them through MOTM-490's and use other 
MOTM modules for the remaining voice functions. Paul S's blurb says the 
490 captures all the subtle characteristics of the original, and as far 
as I know Paul is always right!
