well, i was joking, but in many ways i would think, or hope, that there is a space in the market for an improved case based on the SKB design. the build quality on the SKB case is *crap*. the hinges last about maybe 5 cycles if you're really careful, and the mechanism for holding the rack in the popped-up position is dodgy to say the least. the whole thing is cheap and nasty. finally the thing is too big for how many U it holds. > > >> "Synthesis Technology will also offer in the near future a "Road >> Case" that is 18U wide and 11U tall.
