i never liked having the joystick on the panel--always seems kind of un-ergonomic...  i prefer to mount it in a small project box (2x4x6 from radioshack) and have that cabled to a panel which has the scaling & offset pots.  i use din plugs between the two.  if the joystick isn't plugged in, it still doubles as a variable voltage source.  the ones i've built are frac'd, but i guess you could get two on a 1u MOTM panel.  i used the alltronics 150k and ken stone's dcmixer boards, but the new MUUB boards would work fine... 

the axis generator is another story, would be Great to have that in a 2u MOTM format...

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
