I have been on vacation since the 22nd and just got back (I was in Mexico, 40km south of Cancun). Needless to say, I have LOTS of catching up to do. I did send some email out last week, but it will take all day tomorrow to sort out the good, the bad and the ugly (some people think I'm amazon.com or something....sigh....). Again, the month of July is for: a) getting the '485s shipped (if not all, most of them) b) shipping down the assembled backlog c) shipping MOTM-300/310 kits d) R&D in there sometime!!!! As far as the assembled backlog goes, my former tech Shane has some free time coming up so he will assist. The '410 pc boards were finished Friday, and it's looking like I am on track to have all of the necessary *pc boards* stuffed and soldered for all of the backlog before Aug. 1st. I am building up ~150 assembled pc boards: this takes both time and $$$$. I have ordered 50 more MOTM-960s so if you don't see your order within 10 days, that means you are in batch #2 which will be the end of the month. The VCO kits will take about 12 days to kit up. These are *very labor intensive* to get together. I have been asked several times about an 'upcoming price increase'. To clarify: no increases this year, and the earliest would be April 2006. The increase would to convert ALL of the KITS to ROHS compliant. EU customers would have to use their own solder (hint hint). I am confident that I can meet the July 1st deadline. Remember, the parts don't have to be lead-free, and as a whole the kit needs to be ROHS, not every individual part. I ho no desire to drop EU MOTM customers. I will do all I can to ship MOTM to the EU after July 1, 2006. Paul S.
