WHEW - OK here goes, it's quite complex so I'll just be able to give you a flavor of it. I told Paul that I used all of my Stooge cables on this one and had to resort to my old Hosas as well. Anyway, there are 8 voices that were recorded simultaneously (no overdubs). The melody was generated by some code I wrote for the PSIM which also implements a 4 stage shift register, so that's where the canon comes from. Very pretty. I used the 730 to generate all the triggers, clocked by an LFO (320). The various divider outs trigger 800s which control various VCAs and filters. I used every VCO in my system and every filter except the 410. One other trick: I took the STEP out of the 730 and fed that into the VC IN of the same: this gave the tune a nice lilting quality. There is a lot going on in this patch, but the bottom line is that this is a single patch of a largish system driven by the 730. I can't tell you all enough how cool this module is. Get in line, sign up, whatever you do, get yourself one. Mike PS - I'm glad you liked the music, George! --- In motm@yahoogroups.com, "groovyshaman" <groovyshaman@s...> wrote: > Oh wow.
