-----Original Message----- I am looking at building a MOTM system. I have experience building my own audio cables and have this soldering experience. How difficult is it to build the more challenging modules - MOTM-300 MOTM-440. I am trying to decide if the $100 saved per module is worth the effort on these more difficult units. If you have a decent soldering iron that will not destroy the PCB, if you know how to make a good solder joint, and you can follow instructions, you can build any of the MOTM modules. The VCO is listed as difficult and the EG as easy, but it really comes down to just taking longer. Don't rush, follow the very detailed instructions, and you'll be fine. I think it all hinges on whether or not you can make good solder joints and take your time.
