Re: [motm] Module delivery times & solder fumes

2005-02-07 by Chris Walcott

I've always some sort of ventilation where I work but to me the fumes
are not that bad. I've don't a ton of TT patchbay work in the past -
including reworking several patchbay (de-soldering and re-soldering
every single wire) and that's the only time I've ever used a device to
deal with the fumes. What I have is a little fan with a special filter
in the front that sucks the fumes through it. Works great but I've
never felt the need to break it out for MOTM work.
